The crossing point, and the vendors who do not have one
This column records the condition a vendor attaches to commercial use. Seven of the seventeen vendors attach it to a plan, six attach it to nothing at all, three put it in a licence published with model weights, and one publishes no statement. As of 2026-09-12.
| Vendor | What the column holds | Page the sentence was read from |
|---|---|---|
| Adobe Firefly | Not named at a plan; asserted of the models | Plans page |
| Fliki | Standard, and any paid plan | Pricing page and published answers |
| Hailuo AI | Not worded as commercial use anywhere on the page | Subscription service terms |
| HeyGen | Stated for videos generally, with no plan named | Export help article |
| Higgsfield | No plan required; the rights come with the terms | Help centre answer |
| HunyuanVideo | The licence, outside the EU, the UK and South Korea | Community licence |
| invideo AI | Paid plans | Pricing page |
| Kling AI | Standard, $10 a month | Membership plans |
| Leonardo.Ai | The free plan, with ownership arriving on the paid ones | Help centre answer |
| LTX Studio | Standard | Pricing page |
| Luma | Plus, $30 a month | Pricing page |
| Pika | Pro, $28 a month | Pricing page |
| Runway | Paid plans | Pricing page |
| SceneMixer | Every user, no plan named | Rights guide |
| Stable Video Diffusion | The licence, below USD $1,000,000 in annual revenue | Community licence |
| Synthesia | Not set by plan; set by which avatar is used | Video licensing page |
| Wan | The licence itself, with no threshold attached | Repository licence note |
Inclusion rule. Vendors that publish a statement about commercial use on a page a reader can reach without an account. A vendor whose pages name no condition keeps its row and records that. Order. Rows carrying a statement first, and the rows recording that nothing is published after them, then alphabetically by vendor inside each group.
1The plan is the record, the price is the label
What this column is pinned to is a plan name, because that is what the licence sentence attaches to. The monthly figure travels beside it so the row can be scanned, but a vendor can reprice Standard next quarter without changing a word of what Standard permits, and the row would then be wrong in its cheaper half and right in the half that matters.
That is also why the two vendors granting commercial use across their paid plans are not given a figure here. Their sentence names a class of plans rather than one of them, and inventing an entry point by picking their cheapest paid tier would turn a reading into a guess with a dollar sign attached to it.
2The sentence and the plan list rarely share a page
A grant written for paying customers settles nothing until something else defines which plans count, and that definition almost always sits on a different page from the grant. Reading either half alone produces a confident answer the other half contradicts, which is the failure this column was shaped to make impossible.
So the row carries both halves and the page each was taken from. Kling AI states it on the membership cards themselves, which is the shortest distance between the two halves seen here. The others state it once and define the plans elsewhere, and the register does the walking.
3A crossing point is not a clearance
Paying at the named plan is where the vendor's own permission starts, and that is all this column reports. It does not reach the footage a brand supplied as a reference, the person whose face appears in an output, or the category rules that narrow the same grant a few clauses further down in a document this register does not read.
Two vendors here also show the crossing point moving through a plan ladder in a way a reader would not predict. Luma names commercial use on the plan above its cheapest and does not restate it higher up; Pika puts a paid tier below its crossing point, so its $8 customers are paying without being licensed.
4Five vendors attach the permission to nothing at all
Higgsfield says there is no separate commercial licence to buy and that the rights follow from its terms for every user. HeyGen states the grant in a support article about exporting, with no tier attached. Leonardo.Ai states it for free users. Synthesia moves the condition onto the avatar. Adobe asserts that outputs from its models are safe for commercial use, which is a claim about training data rather than a plan grant.
Those rows cannot be sorted by price, so this column holds the sentence rather than a figure. A reader comparing entry costs should read the free tier column beside this one: where the permission is not priced, what is priced is usually the watermark.
5Three conditions that no plan table could carry
Where a vendor publishes model weights, the condition lives in the licence file. One excludes the European Union, the United Kingdom and South Korea from the territory it covers. One stops at 100 million monthly active users, above which a licence has to be requested. One stops at a million dollars of the licensee's annual revenue, above which the granted licences terminate.
Each of those decides whether a brand may run the output, and none of them is a price. The column records the condition in the vendor's own terms and links to the document, because compressing a territory carve-out into a plan name would lose the only part that matters.

Every row restates a reading already held on commercial use and on the vendor page it came from, checked 2026-09-12.
