What Luma publishes about rights
Luma (lumalabs.ai) lists commercial use on its Plus plan at $30 a month, or $25 billed yearly. The plan list as read carries no free tier, and the higher plans do not restate the commercial line. As of 2026-09-12.
| Point | What the vendor publishes |
|---|---|
| Free tier | No free plan appears in the plan list |
| Commercial use from | Plus, $30 a month |
| What is owned | No statement published |
| Input restriction | No statement published |
Inclusion rule. The same four points are recorded for every vendor here. A point the vendor does not publish is recorded as no statement rather than inferred from terms of service. Order. Fixed order, identical on every product page.
1The highest crossing point in this register
Thirty dollars a month is more than any other entry here asks before naming commercial use. Whether that is expensive depends entirely on what else the plan carries, which this register does not evaluate; what it records is where the licence line first appears.
With no free plan on the list, the cheapest way to generate anything here is already a licensed plan. That removes the free-tier trap in the same structural way one other entry does.

2Not restating a line is not withdrawing it
The plans above Plus do not repeat the commercial use wording. On a plan grid the normal reading is that higher tiers inherit what lower ones carry, and nothing on the page suggests otherwise.
The register still records the omission rather than asserting inheritance, because the same grid pattern elsewhere in this record turns out to mean exclusion rather than inheritance. Two readings of the same layout is exactly why this column exists.
3Two points unaddressed, which is the usual shape
Nothing on the pricing page speaks to who owns the finished work or to what may be supplied as an input. Both rows are recorded as no statement published, which puts this entry alongside most of the register rather than apart from it.
Where those two questions do get answered in this register, it is almost never on a pricing page. They turn up in help centre answers and in licence files published with model weights, which is a different kind of document from the one a buyer opens to compare tiers.

5From the making side
Alongside the terms behind “Luma”, SceneMixer's guides describe the work itself this way:
The final cut ends on an end card: your main image plus four lines — Brand, Product name, Tagline, Call to action. The first two are read from your photo and your brief; the tagline and call to action are written with the script.

Under the terms, what you generate is yours to the extent the law allows, royalty-free, commercial use included.
