An unconditional disclaimer, and one that asks for an invoice
Higgsfield does not claim ownership of your inputs or outputs, with nothing attached. Hailuo does not claim ownership over content you generate and download while on a paid subscription plan, which is a narrower sentence. As of 2026-09-22.
| The question | Higgsfield | Hailuo AI |
|---|---|---|
| Scope of the disclaimer | Inputs and outputs | Content downloaded on a paid plan |
| Condition attached | None | A paid subscription |
| Position for a free user | Same as everybody | Not stated on the page read |
| Where it is published | A help centre answer | Subscription service terms |
Inclusion rule. Two vendors whose published answers in one column point in different directions, or sit far enough apart that a reader choosing between them would decide differently. Order. The vendor named first in the heading is the one whose wording is quoted first.
1A narrower sentence is not a smaller one
Conditioning a disclaimer on a paid subscription does more than exclude free users. It signals that the sentence was drafted with paying customers in mind, and it leaves everybody else in a position the page does not describe.
The unconditional version has no such shadow. It covers inputs too, which reaches uploaded storyboards and client footage, and those arrive with rights already attached to them.
2What the free user of each product knows
On one row: exactly the same as the paying user, because the sentence does not distinguish. On the other: nothing, because the disclaimer is silent about accounts outside its condition and the page does not state the opposite position.
A gap is not a claim. The register does not record that the second vendor claims ownership of free-tier output, only that the sentence available does not cover it.
3Reading each disclaimer beside its own row
The unconditional row also grants commercial use to all users and places one duty about photographs of other people. The conditional row also takes a broad licence back over the same content, on the same page.
So the pair is not simply wider against narrower. It is two complete positions, and the one with the shorter disclaimer is the one that asks less of the customer overall.
4A third set of terms on the same question
| The question | SceneMixer | Source |
|---|---|---|
| What the user holds | Output is the user's to the extent the law allows, royalty-free and commercial use included, and output made with free credits counts as paid for | SceneMixer, rights guide |
| What a production owns | The guide states that the human-authored layers are what a production owns, naming the script, the selection and arrangement of shots and substantive edits | SceneMixer, compliance guide |
Inclusion rule. SceneMixer's own published wording on the column this pair was chosen for. Order. The sentence closest to the column first.
Its full row is on the SceneMixer entry.

5Both documents
The first column comes from the help centre answer at higgsfield.ai, read 2026-09-22; the second from the subscription service terms at hailuoai.video, read 2026-09-22. Each vendor’s full row is on Higgsfield and Hailuo AI, and the column being compared is described on what is owned. A comparison of wording is not legal advice. Other pairs: Fliki and SceneMixer, Synthesia and Higgsfield.
