What each vendor's terms say about commercial use

A bundled stock library, and the rights it brings and withholds

Where a product bundles stock footage, music or voices, an export contains material the customer never owned. That is why such products often promise publishing rights rather than ownership, and why the library's own terms matter. As of 2026-09-22.

Inclusion rule. Phrases that appear in more than one vendor's permissions documents and that change what a sentence means. A phrase used by a single vendor in a single clause is described on that vendor's own page instead. Order. Reading order: where you meet it, then what it settles, then what it does not.

1The convenience and the limit are the same fact

A library exists so a customer does not have to clear anything. Precisely because the material was cleared by somebody else, the customer cannot be given title to it, and an export containing it cannot be assigned outright.

That is not a flaw in the drafting. It is the honest consequence of a product design, and it is why the narrower phrase turns up on exactly these products.

2What to check about the library itself

Whether its licence travels with the exported file, whether it covers advertising, and whether it survives the end of the subscription. Those three questions decide whether a delivered campaign asset stays usable.

Suppliers answer them in a separate document from the generator's terms, which means a reader has two documents to hold and a register reading one of them has to say so.

3Where the free tier exclusion comes from

On products like these, a free-tier exclusion is often worded around media rather than around output, because what is being withheld is a right in somebody else's material. The wording is narrower than it first looks.

It also leaves a gap: a clip that used none of the library is in a position the wording does not describe, and that gap belongs to the vendor's own page rather than to a definition.

4From the making side

Alongside the terms behind “Stock library”, SceneMixer's guides describe the work itself this way:

On a segment’s card, Insert adds a blank segment right after it: write its header and shots.

You can recomposite with different end-card text, and in step-by-step mode you can reshoot individual segments. The finished file can also be downloaded and shared with a link.

5Where the sourced wording is

A word page, not an entry in the register: nothing above is attributed to any vendor and nothing above is legal advice. The quoted clauses are on commercial use, the column this phrase turns up in is what is owned, and the reading rules are on the reading page. Next words: Enterprise licence, No statement published, Reading date.
