What each vendor's terms say about commercial use

What Pika publishes about rights

Pika (pika.art) puts commercial use two plans up rather than one: it is absent from the free plan and absent from the $8 Standard plan, and appears from the $28 Pro plan. Nothing is published on ownership or on input restrictions. As of 2026-09-12.

Inclusion rule. The same four points are recorded for every vendor here. A point the vendor does not publish is recorded as no statement rather than inferred from terms of service. Order. Fixed order, identical on every product page.

1A paid plan that still is not a commercial plan

The interesting cell on this row is not the free plan, which readers expect to be limited. It is Standard: a paying customer on the entry plan is buying generation, not permission. A team that skimmed the table and saw a card marked paid has bought the wrong thing, and nothing in the product tells them so at generation time.

The gap between the two prices is three and a half times, which makes this the largest step between free and licensed of any vendor in this register. Whether it is worth it is a budget question this site does not answer; what the register records is where the line sits.

2What the pricing page does not cover

No statement about who owns the finished work, and none about what may be supplied as an input. Both are left to documents outside the priced pages, which is outside what this register reads. The blank cells are recorded as blanks rather than filled in from elsewhere.

For a brand, the ownership blank is the one that reaches procurement first. A licence to use output commercially and a claim to own it are different assertions, and only the first is on the page.

4A generator's account of it

Alongside the terms behind “Pika”, SceneMixer's guides describe the work itself this way:

Under the terms, what you generate is yours to the extent the law allows, royalty-free, commercial use included.

The spoken lines and the end card follow your interface language across fifteen dialogue languages, with the cast and setting adapted to that market. The end card falls back to a language it can typeset when a script needs shaping or right-to-left layout.
