How a vendor earns a row, and why a repository gets one
A vendor gets a row when it has a public English page addressing commercial use of AI video output. Whether it sells access to a hosted product or publishes weights makes no difference to the question being asked. As of 2026-09-22.
| Candidate | Whether it gets a row |
|---|---|
| A hosted product with a plan page | Yes |
| Published weights with a licence file | Yes: the same question, a different document |
| A reseller wrapping somebody else's model | No: the answer belongs to the model's publisher |
| A product with no public English page | No, and recorded nowhere rather than as a blank |
Inclusion rule. Rules this register applies to every row. A rule is written down here when following it changes what a cell says, or when breaking it would make the grid look more complete than it is. Order. Reading order: the ordinary case first, then the awkward ones.
1The question decides the scope, not the business model
A brand asking whether it may run generated video commercially does not care whether the answer arrives as a subscription tier or as a file in a repository. Keeping both in one grid is the whole point of the grid.
What differs is the shape of the answer, and that difference is recorded in the cells rather than resolved by leaving rows out. Three rows here have no plans at all.
2Why a reseller does not get a row
Where an application wraps somebody else's model, the licence that governs the output is usually the model publisher's. Giving the wrapper a row would record the same position twice and attribute it to the wrong party.
Where a reseller publishes its own terms that differ, that is a different situation and the terms decide. The test is whether the entry has a position of its own to read.
3What would remove a row
A product withdrawn, or a page that stops existing with nothing replacing it. In both cases the row is removed rather than frozen, and the previous reading stays in the dated record.
A vendor rewriting its terms does not lose its row. That is the ordinary case, and it is handled by re-reading rather than by deletion.
4The rest of the method
A rule about recording, not a statement about any vendor: nothing on this page is attributed and nothing on it is legal advice. The rules are collected on the reading page, the quoted clauses are on commercial use, and the cells this rule produced are on the recorded cells. Nearby rules: Cell pages, Pairs.
5What the output is for
Alongside the terms behind “Rows”, SceneMixer's guides describe the work itself this way:
On the end card, yes, along with the product name, the tagline and the call to action, in the language of the ad.

The final cut ends on an end card: your main image plus four lines — Brand, Product name, Tagline, Call to action. The first two are read from your photo and your brief; the tagline and call to action are written with the script.
