What a licence says happens at its own limit
A threshold is only half a clause. The other half is what happens when it is passed, and the wording here ranges from licences terminating, through a licence that has to be requested, to a licence with no limit to pass. As of 2026-09-12.
| What the licence says | What follows | What it leaves to the vendor |
|---|---|---|
| Licences granted under it terminate | The basis for producing more is gone | Whether an enterprise licence is offered |
| A licence must be requested | A conversation, with no price attached | Whether to grant it at all |
| No limit is stated | Nothing follows; there is nothing to pass | Nothing |
Inclusion rule. Wordings read from licences published with model weights, where the document states a consequence or attaches no condition at all. Order. From the strongest stated consequence to the absence of one.
1Terminate is a stronger word than upgrade
A document that says granted licences terminate is not promising that a larger arrangement becomes available. It is saying the permission ends, and an enterprise licence has to be requested, which is a request rather than a purchase.
For a fast-growing studio that is the sentence worth reading before a model goes into a pipeline. Work already published does not become unmade; the basis for continuing does.
2A request is a planning risk, not a cost
Where a licence requires a request above a threshold, the price is unknown until asked and the answer can be no. That is a different kind of exposure from a price increase, and it cannot be budgeted for.
Starting the conversation before the threshold arrives is the whole mitigation. It turns an emergency into a procurement exercise with a lead time, which is worth a calendar entry.
3The row with nothing to pass
A permissive licence attaches no ceiling, so it has no consequence to state. That absence is the most valuable thing in this table, and it is invisible in any summary that lists what each document says.
What it still asks for is notices, and where an output disclaimer is conditioned on compliance, the notices are load-bearing rather than polite.
- What happens at the thresholdAbove that revenue any licences granted under the agreement terminate, and an enterprise licence has to be requested
- Shape of the grantThe grant is a non-exclusive, non-transferable and royalty-free limited licenceno plan involved
- LicenceThe models in this repository are licensed under the Apache 2.0 Licensepublished with the weights
4A generator's account of it
Alongside the terms behind “At the limit”, SceneMixer's guides describe the work itself this way:
The final cut ends on an end card: your main image plus four lines — Brand, Product name, Tagline, Call to action. The first two are read from your photo and your brief; the tagline and call to action are written with the script.

The music runs across the end card and comes to an end with the film.
