What each vendor's terms say about commercial use

How a licence file and a plan table sit in the same column

Three rows here publish model weights with a licence and have no plans at all. They are kept in the column that asks which plan grants commercial use, because the question a reader brings is identical. As of 2026-09-22.

Inclusion rule. Rules this register applies to every row. A rule is written down here when following it changes what a cell says, or when breaking it would make the grid look more complete than it is. Order. Reading order: the ordinary case first, then the awkward ones.

1Comparability is the thing being traded away

A column holding both a price and a licence name cannot be sorted. That is a real cost, and the alternative is a grid that quietly excludes every supplier whose answer is not a number.

The exclusion would also be the wrong shape for the market. Self-hosted weights are a normal production choice, and the brand asking about them has the same question as the brand comparing subscriptions.

2What the cell records instead of a figure

The mechanism: a licence name, and the condition it attaches. Where the condition is a territory, a user ceiling or a revenue figure, that goes in the cell rather than being flattened into a note.

Those conditions are also the reason the rows belong here. They decide whether a brand may run the output as squarely as a plan name does, and no pricing page could express them.

3Where a reader has to supply the judgement

Comparing a thirty dollar plan with a licence that excludes three jurisdictions is not a price comparison. Which one is cheaper is not a question either cell answers, and neither is which one a given company can satisfy.

The register's job is to make both conditions visible in the same place. The choice between them belongs to somebody who knows where their company is established and how large it expects to be.

4The rest of the method

A rule about recording, not a statement about any vendor: nothing on this page is attributed and nothing on it is legal advice. The rules are collected on the reading page, the quoted clauses are on commercial use, and the cells this rule produced are on the recorded cells. Nearby rules: Links, Corrections.

5What the output is for

Alongside the terms behind “Weights and plans”, SceneMixer's guides describe the work itself this way:

A dish photo is cleaned into a product shot and the ad is built around it.

You can recomposite with different end-card text, and in step-by-step mode you can reshoot individual segments. The finished file can also be downloaded and shared with a link.
