Where the outbound links point, and what they are for
Every recorded cell links to the page its wording came from, without tracking parameters and without any marker that would devalue the citation. A link here is evidence rather than a referral. As of 2026-09-22.
| Link | What it is for |
|---|---|
| To the vendor page a cell was read from | Evidence: the reader can verify the wording |
| Between a cell, its vendor row and its column | Navigation between three views of one fact |
| To a comparison or a question page | Applying the same evidence to a different question |
| To anything with a tracking parameter | Not used |
Inclusion rule. Rules this register applies to every row. A rule is written down here when following it changes what a cell says, or when breaking it would make the grid look more complete than it is. Order. Reading order: the ordinary case first, then the awkward ones.
1A citation is the point of the whole exercise
A register whose rows could not be checked would be a set of assertions. The link is what turns a cell into a quotation, and it goes to the specific page the wording was read on rather than to a homepage.
Nothing is added to those links. No parameters, no markers, no interstitials: the reader arrives at the vendor's own page exactly as if they had typed it, and the vendor gets the credit for publishing it.
2Every fact has three views, and they link to each other
The same sentence appears in the main grid, on the vendor's row, and on the cell page that keeps the working. Each of those is useful to a different reader, and each links to the other two.
Comparisons and questions sit on top of the same evidence. They link down to the cells rather than repeating the wording, so a correction in one place propagates instead of being fixed three times.
3What the register does not link to
Other sites in the same family, and anything that would look like a recommendation. The outbound set is the vendors themselves, which is the shortest list consistent with being checkable.
Internally, links follow the evidence rather than a taxonomy. A page links where a reader following the argument would want to go next, which is why a cell page points at its row and its column rather than at a category listing.
4The rest of the method
A rule about recording, not a statement about any vendor: nothing on this page is attributed and nothing on it is legal advice. The rules are collected on the reading page, the quoted clauses are on commercial use, and the cells this rule produced are on the recorded cells. Nearby rules: Corrections, Reading an absence.
5What the output is for
Alongside the terms behind “Links”, SceneMixer's guides describe the work itself this way:
You can recomposite with different end-card text, and in step-by-step mode you can reshoot individual segments. The finished file can also be downloaded and shared with a link.

The final cut ends on an end card: your main image plus four lines — Brand, Product name, Tagline, Call to action. The first two are read from your photo and your brief; the tagline and call to action are written with the script.
