What Higgsfield publishes about rights
Higgsfield (higgsfield.ai) answers all four points this register keeps on a single help centre page: there is no separate commercial licence to buy, commercial rights follow from the terms for all users, it claims no ownership of inputs or outputs, and an image of another person may not be used without permission. As of 2026-09-22.
| Point | What the vendor publishes |
|---|---|
| Free tier | Commercial rights follow for all users, free included |
| Commercial use from | No plan required; the rights come with the terms |
| What is owned | Higgsfield does not claim ownership of inputs or outputs |
| Input restriction | An image of another person may not be used without that person's permission |
Inclusion rule. The same four points are recorded for every vendor here. A point the vendor does not publish is recorded as no statement rather than inferred from terms of service. Order. Fixed order, identical on every product page.
1One page that answers the whole row
Nothing else in this grid does this. The four columns here were chosen because each can be asked of every vendor, and the expectation built into them was that most rows would be part empty. This row is not, and it was filled from one help centre answer rather than assembled from a plan table plus a guide plus a policy.
Whether the answers are generous is a separate matter from whether they are findable. A reader clearing a deliverable can reach all four from a single address, which is a practical property worth as much as a favourable clause.
2Removing the plan from the licence question
The wording is explicit that no separate commercial licence is for sale and that the rights run to all users. That deletes the failure this register exists to surface: there is no tier at which a customer is paying and still unlicensed, because payment is not what the permission turns on.
What payment turns on is the mark. Paid plans include watermark-free downloads, and the page adds that publishing watermarked output commercially may not be appropriate, which is an unusually direct admission that a licence and a presentable file are different purchases.
3An input rule stated as somebody else's permission
The restriction recorded here is not about categories of content but about a specific person: an image of another person may not be uploaded or used without that person's permission. It puts the obligation on whoever supplies the reference, which is where the exposure in brand work usually starts.
Four entries in this register now regulate the input side rather than the output side, and three of the four do it on likeness grounds. For an agency, that is the rule most likely to be broken by somebody with good intentions and a client's headshot to hand.

5What the output is for
Alongside the terms behind “Higgsfield”, SceneMixer's guides describe the work itself this way:
The final cut ends on an end card: your main image plus four lines — Brand, Product name, Tagline, Call to action. The first two are read from your photo and your brief; the tagline and call to action are written with the script.
SceneMixer, The End Card (read 2026-10-13)
The spoken lines and the end card follow your interface language across fifteen dialogue languages, with the cast and setting adapted to that market. The end card falls back to a language it can typeset when a script needs shaping or right-to-left layout.
