A clean file is not the same as a licensed one
Two rights are usually bought on the same plan and are not the same thing: permission to use the output commercially, and a file without a visible mark. On at least one vendor here they sit one plan apart. As of 2026-09-12.
| Vendor | What is published | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| LTX Studio | Marks stop at Lite | Commercial licence starts at Standard |
| HeyGen | Mark removed at $29 Creator | The grant names no plan, so it comes first |
| Higgsfield | Mark removed on paid plans | Rights follow the terms for all users |
| Hailuo AI | Mark removed from $14.99 Standard | The ownership line arrives on the same plan |
| Pika | Both at Pro, $28 | The two rights coincide |
Inclusion rule. Both figures read from the same vendor's priced page. A vendor that publishes only one of the two is not listed. Order. Vendors where the two differ first.
1One plan apart is the case that costs money
A customer on the tier that removes the mark and not the tier that grants the licence holds a clean file they are not permitted to run. Nothing about the file signals that, and the receipt looks like permission.
This is the specific arrangement this register was built to surface, and it exists on at least one vendor today. Merging the two into one column would hide exactly this case.
2Conflating them is easy because they usually coincide
On most vendors the same upgrade buys both, so the habit of treating them as one right is reinforced constantly and breaks silently on the vendor where it does not hold.
Keeping them in separate registers on separate sites is deliberate. A single merged column would be easier to read and wrong in the one case that matters.
3What to check before a campaign ships
Which tier produced each clip, and whether that tier carried the commercial line at the time. Both are answerable from the vendor's own pages plus an invoice, and neither is answerable from looking at the file.
That is the whole practical takeaway from this register, and it takes a production file rather than a tool to act on.
